Introduction of the NZ based African Purpose Team

During our visit to NZ in May / June, we held a meeting with a few interested people about establishing a home based team who are committed to bringing positive change in Africa.  The recognition is that while Richard & Jenny are in Africa with their respective places of service, there is much that can be added and multiplied to their efforts from people in NZ, Australia and other places providing a wide-range of support.  This may include logistics, finances, resourcing, pastoral care, prayer, coordinating of visits, information and communication.

Following an initial meeting, a team has continued to meet, defining its purpose, objectives and structure.  It is now at the point of being able to start functioning and embarking on some initial projects in pastoral care, marketing, resource gathering and raising of finances for specific projects which will become live in the next few weeks and months.
