Richard is using his accounting skills

One of the discoveries of working in  the developing world is that practical aspects such as accounts still need to be done, but it is hard to find skilled personnel to do them.  It has been a continual challenge at The Joshua Foundation trying to get their accounts competently completed, despite the best endeavours of various team members.  Richard is using his accounting degree and systems experience here and has got involved in assisting with re-engineering the business processes and the operation of the accounting software.  This is definitely a temporary commitment, although he will continue as part of the financial audit team to ensure the accounting is being completed in line with agreed processes and standards.
