Business Ventures and Training

Tanzania is currently one of the poorest 10 countries in the world with a GDP of only US$600 per person per year (NZ is US$22,000) with more than 30% of its people living below the poverty line.  The process of starting businesses that grow and provide jobs, infrastructure, export dollars and investment is an essential part of seeing poverty decrease in Africa.   The business strategy involves:

Short Term

  • Start businesses that can act as ‘model’ enterprises and enable training of budding entrepreneurs.

Medium to Long-Term

  • Train people in business skills and an understanding of kingdom business principles and social responsibility.
  • Provide venture capital for some of the most promising graduates who also possess compelling business plan.
  • Commence a business faculty as part of the Joshua Foundation training institution.
